Truth, Lies and Workplace Culture podcast

I was recently invited to guest on the Truth, Lies and Workplace Culture podcast, where I chatted through all the things that male leaders wanted to ask but were afraid to with the host Leanne.

This jam-packed episode delves into the often-neglected topic of women's health, with the goal to foster an open and honest conversation about women's health, empowering male leaders to be better informed and more empathetic in their approach towards their female colleagues and employees.

Myself and the other guests touched on women's health topics, such as menstruation, pregnancy and menopause. I was able to bring a perspective on women’s mental health that takes into consideration my own experience with burnout as a working mother in the NHS, and years of medical practice. Leanne didn’t shy away from asking some very tough questions about the structural and systemic causes of the gendered experience of burnout and mental health problems in the workplace.

We were also able to explore the intersection between women's health and workplace culture, discussing how organizations can implement policies and practices that support the well-being of their female employees.

Thank you to the team for having me on the podcast! You can listen to it here
